Wedding Chalkboards Part 2

Hello Ladies,

Hopefully everyone is having a wonderful weekend!  

It is still brutally hot here in Atlanta but hopefully we will have cooler, Fall weather soon!

Hubby and I just finished our first total custom framed wedding chalkboard.  

We have done many custom color framed chalkboards but we made this one from scratch...frame and all.  

This board is huge at 76"!

It is for a November wedding in Connecticut and will be used to list the seating chart.

She wants two of these boards.  Needless to say you can fit a lot of names on just one of these boards, never mind two:)  

I heart turning old unloved frames into beautiful chalkboards but being able to custom design any size is a great new challenge that I think could/should help our little business go to the next level.

We now can do any size, any color, and any finish.

Very excited about the possibilities.

Customer Love

There is nothing more gratifying that receiving something like this when you wake

up and open your email.

I received this from one of my wonderful customers who lives in Sweden.  

How sweet is she...and just when I needed a pick me up.  

God works in mysterious ways....

It's funny...you see last week...around Monday, I was completely burnt out. 

 I didn't want to blog, I didn't want to look for new items, I didn't want to paint, stage, photograph, edit, list, package, you know the drill...

I just needed a breather...

So for three days i threw a pity party for myself and then something magical happened.

After three days of being away (not literally away...just mentally not there)

I woke up on Thursday feeling much better and literally revived.

I guess sometimes you just have to take a step back leave it alone for a few days...

it will still be there waiting when you get back.

So I am back in full force and receiving gratitude pics like the one above makes it all worth it:)

Friday Finds Part 3

Hello ladies,

I hope your Friday is going well...

I am having a wonderful day and wanted to share some of my Friday finds with you!

I found these wonderful "shabby" Victorian lady plaques which I thought would look so perfect hanging in a wall grouping (you know how i love those:), or in a nursery or little girl's room.

They are the perfect mix of fancy meets shabby...

I also found this dainty little ornate mirror which I thought didn't need anything extra...I am leaving this one as it is.......for now anyway:)

I just love it!  This is also available as a chalkboard if someone wants it that way....

All of these items can now be purchased in my DignifiedRubbish Shop!
